Practice with AI
Practice lets you try saved learning content through AI-assisted questions. Answer each question, read the feedback, and move on. This is a question session, not an open-ended AI conversation.
If Practice is available in your version, sign in and open a Lesson with learning terms, such as “English at work”. A question about “deadline” may help you practice its meaning or use in context; you will not necessarily get the same question every time.
Complete a Practice session
- Open a Lesson and choose Practice. Start from the Library for a broader selection.
- Wait for the questions. A regular session selects due terms first, then eligible new terms. A starred session uses only starred terms in the selected Lesson.
- For multiple choice, click an option to submit immediately. For a typed question, enter an answer and choose Check answer or press Enter.
- If you do not know, choose Don’t know? to see feedback.
- Read the result, explanation, and Reference answer when available. Choose Next question when ready.
Feedback may show Automatic evaluation or AI evaluation. AI does not grade every question. Compare the explanation with what the question asks; a correct result does not prove lasting recall.
Adjust your session
Open Practice settings to choose the question count. Changing the count and saving starts a new session. Reloading the page also starts a fresh run, so read the feedback before leaving.
After a result arrives, Play answer pronunciation lets you hear the answer text when available. Click the speaker to listen; this control does not play automatically.
If questions or submissions fail
Use Resend answer when submission fails. If the session cannot continue, choose Start a new session. An empty list may mean that your chosen scope contains no eligible terms.
If Practice is unavailable, you can still answer questions with Learn.
