Save webpage content to a lesson
Save a word you have just encountered so you can practice it later. For example, add deadline — hạn chót to your English at work lesson.
Before you start
You need the extension signed in and a lesson in the same account. If you do not have one, create a lesson in the web app first.
This action saves learning content from your selection. It does not import the entire webpage as a Reading.
Select and save a word
- Select deadline on a webpage, then choose Add to Lesson on the toolbar. Open More if the action is hidden.
- In Add a term, check that Term contains the word you want to study. Some labels in this dialog stay in English even when your account uses Vietnamese.
- Select the Lesson field to check the destination. Find English at work, select it, and choose Use this lesson.
- If suggestions appear, choose a matching one and review its meaning. You can also enter hạn chót in Meaning yourself. Use Add for another meaning if needed.
- Check the term, meanings, and lesson, then select Add to Lesson. Wait for saving to finish.
What to expect
The editor closes after a successful save. Open the lesson in the web app to check the new content. The extension may remember your previous lesson; check the destination whenever you change topics.
If saving fails
- No lesson appears: check your account, clear the lesson search, or create a lesson on the web and try again.
- No word suggestion: you can still enter a meaning. ask AI for a definition opens AI lookup; review its result before using it.
- Save is disabled: choose a lesson and enter a term and first meaning.
- Save reports an error: keep the editor open, read the message, and retry. If you are unsure whether it saved, check the lesson before adding it again.
Practice the word
Open Flashcard for the lesson and try to recall the meaning.
