Edit saved content
You can clarify a meaning or replace an example with one you use yourself. For “deadline”, you might use “the latest time to finish a task” to make the meaning easier to remember.
Open the term to edit
- Open My Library and the lesson containing the term.
- Find the word or phrase in the list.
- Open its three-dot menu and choose Edit term.
- Change the relevant fields. Term is the word or phrase; Meaning explains it.
- Choose Save changes.
Use Add more details if you need an example or another detail. You do not need to complete every field to correct one meaning.
Check the saved result
Wait for saving to finish, then read the term in your lesson. If you use Flashcards, reopen the card to check the new wording.
The change applies to the term in the lesson you are editing. Do not assume a term with the same name in another lesson has changed too; check that lesson separately if needed.
If saving fails
- A field has an error: correct the highlighted field and save again.
- Your connection drops: keep the editor open, check your connection, and retry. Avoid closing it with unsaved changes.
- The app says the content changed: note your intended edits, load the latest version as instructed, and review it before saving again.
Close the editor after saving, or when you intend to discard the changes you are entering.
Put the term in the right lesson
If the content is correct but belongs elsewhere, move it to another lesson.
