What are lessons and terms?
Lessons group related words and sentence patterns so you can find and practice them together. Think of each lesson as a notebook for one topic; each term inside is something you want to remember.
Four names you will see
| Name in the app | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| My Library | The home for your learning content | Where you find saved lessons |
| Lesson | A group of learning terms around a topic | English at work |
| Term | A word, phrase, or sentence pattern to learn | deadline — hạn chót |
| Tag | A label for grouping and filtering lessons | Work |
What can a lesson contain?
Your English at work lesson could include:
- deadline — hạn chót, a time by which something must be done.
- follow up — liên hệ lại, to contact someone again about something.
- Could you + verb…? — a sentence pattern for asking someone to do something.
Each term can have its own meanings and examples. Practice uses the content saved in your lesson, so you do not need to enter it again for every session.
Do I need tags right away?
No. Create a lesson first. Once you have several lessons, tags such as Work or Travel can make them easier to find.
A tag organizes lessons. It is not a word to study and does not replace a lesson.
How many terms should I start with?
Try 3–5 words you need to use. This is a suggestion for getting started, not an app limit. Keep each term focused on a word, phrase, or sentence pattern so it is clear what you need to remember.
