Translate words and sentences

Translate a short sentence to understand its meaning before studying individual words. Try We need to meet the deadline., then explore the phrase meet the deadline.

Before you start

Sign in to the web app and open your library. These steps apply when AI Assist is available for your account and you have AI credits. Some AI features may not yet be available in your version.

Translate an English sentence

Select AI Assist, then Translate.
Paste your English sentence. Keep it within 300 characters; split longer passages into short sentences.
Check that the target is Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese). This mode currently translates English into Vietnamese.
Select Send or press Enter. Use Shift + Enter to insert a line break before sending.
Compare the translation with the original. To ask why a word is used, switch to AI Chat and ask a follow-up question.

What to expect

The original sentence and answer appear in the AI Assist panel. Use Copy on the answer if needed. Closing and reopening the panel during the same session keeps the current conversation. To find it later, open conversation history.

If translation does not work

AI Assist is missing: return to your library; dedicated study screens such as Flashcard and Learn do not show the panel.
You cannot send: check the input length and credit message below the field. Wait while credits load; try reloading the page if the balance remains unavailable.
Temporary error: select Retry when offered.
Unclear translation: provide a more complete sentence and compare the context. AI translations can be wrong.
