Move and remove terms
Move a word when it belongs in another lesson. Remove it when you no longer want to study it in the current lesson.
Move a term
The destination lesson must already exist. Create a lesson first if you need one.
- Open the lesson containing the term.
- Open the term’s three-dot menu and choose Move term.
- Find and select the destination lesson.
- Choose Move term to confirm.
- Wait for completion, then check the destination lesson.
After a successful move, the term appears in the destination and leaves the source lesson. Moving does not create an extra copy.
If the destination already contains the term, the app reports a duplicate. Nothing has moved; choose a different lesson or leave the term where it is.
Remove a term from this lesson
- Open the term’s three-dot menu.
- Choose Remove from lesson.
- Check the term and lesson names in the confirmation dialog.
- Choose Remove from lesson if they are correct.
If the term is not in another lesson, it will no longer be available to study once syncing finishes. Use Move if you only want to put it somewhere else.
If the action does not finish
Wait for the pending action to end. After a connection error, check the list and use the retry control when offered. Do not remove the source term to “finish” a move whose result is unclear.
If you cannot find the destination, clear your search or load more lessons. You can only choose lessons available to your account.
Edit instead of removing
To change only a meaning or example, edit the saved term.
