Frequently asked questions
Find the question closest to what you are doing. Each answer links to a fuller guide when you need one.
What are Lessons, Terms, and Tags?
A Lesson holds related learning content. A Term is one thing to learn, such as “deadline”. A Tag helps you find lessons with a shared topic. Read lessons and terms.
Do I have to enter every word myself?
No. You can save a ready-made lesson and edit your copy. You can also add your own words or use document import when it is available in your version.
Are Flashcards and Learn the same?
Flashcards let you reveal an answer and rate your own recall. Learn asks you to select or type an answer and checks it. See which study mode to choose.
Does choosing Know mean my answer was correct?
Know is your own assessment of recall, not an answer check. In the Flashcard preview, ratings are only sent when Track progress is on.
Why is nothing due today?
Your next review may be later, or you may not have started learning any terms yet. Check the review area in your library. If it shows a loading error, retry before assuming nothing is due. See review what is due.
Has my lesson disappeared?
First check your signed-in account, search text, and tag filters. Use Retry if the app reports a loading error. A lesson missing from filtered results has not necessarily been deleted.
Can I edit a saved ready-made lesson?
Yes. Your saved copy is editable without changing the original. See edit saved content.
Why can I not find a tool in a guide?
Some tools depend on your version and whether they are enabled for your account. Read the guide’s prerequisites. A button marked “Coming soon” is not available yet; see plans and limits.
